Resume:I am writing to you to enquire if you have any vacancy in your company for a Marine Data Processor. If there is any vacancy I would like to apply for it. I have enclosed a copy of my CV for your consideration. I have completed my B.sc in Geology and Masters in Geo-Informatics. I believe my background and experience will help me be an asset to your company in a very short time.
As you will see from my C.V, I am currently working with Fugro Survey India as a Data Processor. In my present position I am responsible for Acquisition and Processing of Multibeam Echo sounder data, Singlebeam Echo sounder data, Side Scan Sonar data and Sub-Bottom Profiler data. I have closely worked with the GIS department and I have been able to quickly identify problems and resolve them before the deadline of the project. Also my key responsibilities include producing charts using AutoCAD and Microstation.
Over the last two years I have done several projects involving Single beam data, Multibeam data, Side Scan Sonar data, and Sub-Bottom profiler data Processing and then producing charts using AutoCAD and Microstation. My Processing and Charting skills are good and I am very conscious about meeting deadlines and completing tasks unsupervised.
With my proven ability to manage and maintain highest QA standards within the deadlines, I feel that I would be able to make a significant contribution to your company’s production team. If give an opportunity I will be able to prove myself.
