Survey Engineer on board various vessels offshore: In-charge of the survey equipments (electronic) on board various client vessels offshore supporting the oil and gas offshore industry. The survey on board provided the client with navigation and constructional aid inside the field for a safe working environment. There were various GPS positioning, under water equipments, sonar systems, and data acquisitioning systems. These complex machines were maintained, calibrated, serviced and operated as per the client requirements. Also involved in mobilized and demobilized various vessels at the beginning and end of the job respectively. Coordinated with surveyors, geophysicist and data processors for best results of the data for the client. And was involved in making reports and certificates at the end of job.

Projects Involved:
There were a variety of projects over the above mentioned period. Some in the construction field and other in hydrographic survey field.
The offshore construction projects include, Positioning support, ROV support, Dive support and the basic Navigation support.
The Hydrographic survey projects include, Hazard clearance site survey (Geophysical), Analogue and Digital (2-D) Seismic and Geophysical site survey, Environmental with Geophysical site survey and Multibeam site survey. Some of the clients involved in the survey projects were, Repsol YPF Oriente Medio, Wintershall AG, Mouchel Parkman, Dubai Petroleum, Shell services.
Also involved in oceanographic survey, which includes Tide gauges, ADCP, wave rider buoys, and weather monitors.
There were also some environmental survey projects includes van-veen, Niskin water sampler, zooplankton trawl, water profiler, and under water cameras.
The clients involved were a variety of multi-national construction giants, for instance, J-Ray Mc Dermott, Global Industries, Leighton International, Statoil Hydro, so on.
The end clients of these construction giants were various oil companies like, Saudi Aramco, Maresk Oil, Shell Oil, Statoil Hydro, ONGC, Dubai Petroleum etc.
