Resume: Since my inception into the offshore Oil and Gas servicing industry in year 2005 till date, I have been saddled with responsibilities ranging from Mobilization, Demobilization, Configuration, Deployment, Data Acquisition, Processing and Reporting of offshore Geophysical data.
The complex nature of these operations has made fast thinking and the ability to draw concise and logical conclusion a part of me even under intense pressure.
I have extensive knowledge in the operation and maintenance of majority of the modern offshore Positioning and Survey Equipments and their associated Softwares, such as:
General Navigation System (GNS II), EIVA (NaviPac), WinFrog, Quinsy Navigation Software and Equipments such as:
C-Nav DGPS, C-Nav 1010 GPS, C-Nav 2050 DGPS, Trimble GPS, S.G Brown Meridian Gyro, Compass Gyro, Seapath Gyro, Furuno Echo sounder, Odom Hydrotrac Echo Sounder, EA 400 Echo Sounder, JW Fishers SSS, Klein 3000 SSS, G881-G882 Magnetometer, Edge Tech SBP, Strata Box SBP, Satel Telemetry system, Current meters, Sound Velocity meters, Seacat CTD Profiler, Gravity Corer, TSS Heave Compensator e.t.c.
Other areas of my exposure include Pre and Post Drill environmental impact assessment, offshore Site Geotechnical for Civil, Infrastructural works and other exploration activities.
In addition I have also represented clients’ interest (QA/QC) in various offshore Geophysical and Geotechnical survey projects to inspect equipments and to ensure that contractors comply fully with client’s work specification.
